Rectorseal PR-1L is a purple, low VOC, hi-etch primer specifically formulated for all PVC and CPVC pipe applications. 2. Apply Primer to Fitting: Immediately apply a liberal and uniform coat of PR-1L primer to the inside of the fitting socket. Ensure complete coverage.
3. Apply Solvent Cement: While the primer is still wet (do not allow primer to dry), immediately apply the appropriate PVC or CPVC solvent cement to both the primed pipe end and the primed inside of the fitting socket. Follow the solvent cement manufacturer's instructions for application.
