2.2 Attaching a Ball Head (Sold Separately)

The T-1205X tripod is designed to be used with a separate ball head. To attach your ball head:

2. Align the base of your ball head with the mounting screw.
3. Rotate the ball head clockwise until it is securely fastened. Ensure it is tight enough to prevent rotation during use, but do not overtighten.

2.3 Extending the Legs

1. Press the leg angle lock tab at the top of each leg.
2. Move the leg to either the 52-degree (standard) or 80-degree (wide) position.

3.1 Leg Section Adjustment

The tripod features 5 leg sections. To adjust the length of each section, twist the silicon locks counter-clockwise to loosen, extend or retract the section, and then twist clockwise to tighten. Always ensure all sections are securely locked before placing equipment on the tripod.

3.2 Center Column Use

The standard center column can be extended for additional height. For extremely low-angle shots, replace the standard center column with the included short center column. To do this, loosen the center column locking knob, remove the standard column, insert the short column, and tighten the knob.

3.3 Reversing Legs for Compact Storage

For maximum portability, the tripod legs can be folded upwards 180 degrees, enclosing the ball head (if attached) within the folded legs. This reduces the tripod's length significantly.

1. Ensure the center column is fully retracted.
2. Release the leg angle locks.
3. Fold each leg upwards, reversing its direction, until it rests parallel to the center column.
4. Secure the legs in this folded position.
