5.1 Starting the Hedge Trimmer

The IKRA IHT 550 features a two-hand safety switch. To start the hedge trimmer:

1. Grip the front handle firmly with one hand and the rear handle with the other.
2. Simultaneously press both the switch on the front handle and the switch on the rear handle. The blades will begin to move.
3. Release either switch to stop the hedge trimmer. The electric quick stop feature will rapidly halt the blades.

5.2 Hedge Trimming Techniques

For best results and safety, follow these guidelines:
