5. Operating Instructions: Crib Conversions

The Graco Story Crib is designed for 5-in-1 conversion to grow with your child. Each conversion requires specific steps and may require additional kits, sold separately.

Conversion Modes:

1. Crib Mode: This is the initial setup for infants. Ensure the mattress support is at an appropriate height for your child's age and mobility.
2. Toddler Bed Mode: To convert to a toddler bed, remove the front crib rail and install a compatible toddler guardrail kit (sold separately). This allows your child to get in and out independently while providing a safety barrier.
3. Daybed Mode: To convert to a daybed, simply remove the front crib rail. No additional kit is required for this conversion.
4. Full-Size Bed (Headboard Only): To convert to a full-size bed with only the headboard, you will need a compatible full-size crib conversion kit (sold separately). This kit typically includes side rails and slats to support a full-size mattress.
5. Full-Size Bed (Headboard & Footboard): For a complete full-size bed with both headboard and footboard, use the compatible full-size crib conversion kit (sold separately) to attach the original crib footboard to the full-size bed frame.

Note: A standard full-size crib & toddler mattress is required for all modes (mattress sold separately).
