MarCum flashers use a three-color system to indicate target density and return strength: RED indicates a strong return (hard bottom or dense target), GREEN indicates a medium return, and ORANGE typically indicates a weak return (weeds, baitfish, or interference).
Use the provided retractable transducer arm and stopper. Deploy the transducer so it hangs just a few inches below the water line in the ice hole. Avoid lowering it below the bottom of the ice to prevent damage or cable freezing.
Use the supplied charger connected to the battery's wiring harness. A red light on the charger indicates charging is in progress, while a green light indicates the battery is fully charged. Charge the battery immediately after each use.
MarCum units are water and weather-resistant, designed for outdoor use. However, they are not fully waterproof. Shield the monitor from heavy driving rain or submersion, and ensure the system is completely dried out after use if it gets wet.
