Upon opening your KEYDIY KD-MP package, please verify that all the following items are included:

5.1. Key Identification (MLB & MQB)

  1. Place the key to be identified into the Key Coil Area of the KD-MP device.
  2. In the PC software, navigate to the 'Key Identification' section.
  3. Initiate the identification process. The software will display the key type and relevant information.

5.2. Data Collection & Calculation

  1. Connect the Key Data Collection Cable to the appropriate port on the KD-MP device and to the vehicle's system as instructed by the software.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts in the PC software to collect OEM MLB/MQB key data.
  3. Once data is collected, the software will perform the necessary calculations for key generation.

5.3. Dealer Key Generation

  1. After data collection and calculation, select the 'Dealer Key Generation' option in the software.
  2. Choose the type of key to generate (OEM, KD, or aftermarket).
  3. Place the blank key into the Key Coil Area or connect it via an extension port if required.
  4. Follow the software's instructions to complete the key generation process.

5.4. Key ID Modification & Restoration

  1. Place the KD key into the Key Coil Area.
  2. Access the 'Key ID Modification' or 'Key Restoration' functions in the PC software.
  3. For modification, enter the desired new ID. For restoration, confirm the reset to default.

5.5. Key Value Adjustment & Sensitivity Calibration

  1. Place the KD key into the Key Coil Area.
  2. Use the 'Key Value Adjustment' feature to customize button functions or 'Sensitivity Calibration' to fine-tune signal strength via the software interface.
