Before using your Rival Automatic Steamer/Rice Cooker for the first time, wash the removable cooking bowl, steamer basket, glass lid, measuring cup, and serving spatula in warm, soapy water. 4. Place the glass lid securely on the cooking bowl.

9. Unplug the unit when serving is complete.

Steaming Food (e.g., Vegetables)

1. Add water to the removable cooking bowl (refer to recipe or general steaming guidelines for quantity).
2. Place the steamer basket into the cooking bowl, ensuring it sits above the water level.
3. Arrange your food (e.g., chopped vegetables) evenly in the steamer basket.
4. Place the glass lid securely on the unit.
