Operating the Nova Delay

The Nova Delay allows you to store up to 9 user-programmable presets. To save a preset:

1. Adjust the knobs and select the desired delay type and subdivision.
2. Press and hold the "Manual/Preset" footswitch until the display flashes, indicating the preset is saved.
3. To recall a preset, press the "Manual/Preset" footswitch to enter Preset mode, then use the "Type" or "Subdiv" buttons to cycle through the saved presets.

Audio Tapping

The Audio Tapping feature allows you to set the delay tempo by playing your instrument. Simply play a rhythmic pattern, and the pedal will detect the tempo and adjust the delay time accordingly.

  • Ensure the "Preset" button is illuminated.
  • Press and hold the "Type" button. Observe the "Preset" button for a quick flash (it will not rapidly blink, but briefly dim and re-illuminate).
  • Repeat this process for each of the global presets (1, 3, 5, 7) to enable independent control.
• If the display shows "8888" or other error codes, try power cycling the unit (unplug and re-plug the power supply). If the issue persists, contact TC Electronic support.
