SmartKey Re-keying Instructions:

The SmartKey feature allows you to re-key your lock to an existing key. This process takes seconds and requires your functioning key and the SmartKey tool.

1. Insert the currently programmed key fully into the keyhole and turn it 90 degrees clockwise to the horizontal position.
2. Insert the SmartKey tool firmly and fully into the SmartKey hole. Remove the SmartKey tool.
3. Remove the currently programmed key.
4. Insert the new key you wish to use fully into the keyhole and turn it 90 degrees counter-clockwise to the vertical position.
5. Remove the new key. The lock is now re-keyed. Test with the new key to ensure proper operation.
