- Plug the small end of the AC power adapter into the power jack on the back of the telephone base.
- Plug the large end of the AC power adapter into a wall outlet not controlled by a wall switch.
- Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the TEL LINE jack on the back of the telephone base.

Setting the date and time is crucial for the answering system's time stamp and Caller ID record keeping.

4. Registering Additional Handsets (Optional)
This system is expandable up to 12 handsets using the CRL30102 accessory handset. To register a new handset:
- Place the unregistered handset in the telephone base.

- If registration fails, try again. If it continues to fail, refer to the troubleshooting section.
Operating Your Telephone

Adjust the listening volume during a call using the DIR / VOLUME buttons on the handset. The base unit also has volume controls for message playback.

Cleaning Your Telephone
Clean the telephone with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use cleaning agents or abrasive powders. Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the telephone.
