Accu-Chek Nano SmartView Blood Glucose Monitoring System is designed for self-testing to help individuals manage their blood glucose levels. The Accu-Chek Nano meter requires product-specific batteries, which are typically included. Open the battery compartment on the back of the meter and insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators. Close the compartment securely.

2. Initial Meter Setup

Upon first use or after battery replacement, the meter may prompt you to set the date, time, and measurement units (mg/dL or mmol/L). Follow the on-screen instructions using the meter buttons to configure these settings. Refer to the meter's display for guidance.

3. Accu-Chek FastClix Lancing Device Setup

The Accu-Chek FastClix lancing device uses a drum with 6 preloaded lancets. This design eliminates the need to handle individual lancets.

Follow these steps for accurate blood glucose measurement:

8. Dispose of Lancet and Strip: Eject the used test strip and advance the lancet drum in the FastClix device to the next fresh lancet. Dispose of used lancets and test strips safely in a sharps container or according to local regulations.

Clean the meter regularly to ensure proper function. Wipe the exterior of the meter with a soft cloth dampened with a mild cleaning solution (e.g., 70% isopropyl alcohol). Do not immerse the meter in liquid or spray cleaners directly onto it.
