• Setting 0 (Diagnostic Mode): The control board comes from the factory set at 0. This is a diagnostic mode used for testing components. The stove will not operate correctly in this mode.

For most standard pellets and installations, the lower setting (e.g., 1, 4, 6) is usually correct.

4.3. Post-Installation Verification

After setting the dial and installing the control board, plug the stove back into the wall. The control board will emit a series of blinks to indicate correct setup:

  • Perform a physical inspection of the thermocouple. Ensure it is securely in place and properly positioned over the firepot.
  • Check the thermocouple wires for any damage or loose connections.
  • If the issue persists after inspection, the thermocouple itself may need replacement.
