Proper installation is key to the smooth operation of your soft-close pivot hinges. Follow these steps carefully.

1. Measure Your Cabinet Opening

Before installing, accurately measure the width, height, and depth of your cabinet opening. This ensures compatibility and proper fit for any accessories you plan to use with the tip-out tray.

Identify the left (L) and right (R) hinges.
Ensure you have all necessary tools: drill, 3/32 drill bit, pencil, and screwdriver.

3. Mark and Drill Holes on Face Frame

With the drawer front panel still installed (or aligned to its desired location), use a pencil to lightly mark its perimeter on the front of the face frame.
Remove the drawer front panel.
Place one hinge on the appropriate side of the face frame. Align it so the bottom rests on the face frame and the front is flush with the face frame's front.
Trace the locations of two mounting holes onto the frame. Avoid holes too close to the top or bottom edges for easier drilling.

Drill the marked holes into the face frame using a 3/32 drill bit.

4. Attach Hinges to Face Frame

Attach the hinges to the face frame using the provided screws.

5. Mark and Drill Holes on Drawer Front Panel

Place the drawer front panel against the face frame in its desired location, using your previously traced perimeter as a guide.
From the inside of the cabinet, mark the mounting hole locations from the hinges onto the back of the drawer front panel.
Remove the panel and carefully drill the mounting holes with a 3/32 bit. Caution: Do not drill all the way through the panel. A drill bit stop collar is recommended.

6. Install Drawer Front Panel

Attach the drawer front panel to the installed hinges. This can be done from inside the cabinet with the hinges "closed" or from outside with them "open."
Do not fully tighten screws until all four are in place and the panel is aligned.

7. Test and Adjust

Test the function of the tip-out tray.
If needed, slightly loosen the screws and adjust the panel to ensure it closes flush and evenly.
