The SharkBite Anderson Shut-Off Valve features a push-to-connect design, simplifying installation without the need for solder, clamps, unions, or glue. No sealant is required for these connections.

2. Connect the Valve: Push the pipe firmly into the valve until it reaches the marked insertion depth. The valve's internal mechanism will create a watertight seal.

  • Mineral deposits may be preventing full closure. Operating the valve several times may help.
