3.3 Ventilation Modes
The hood supports two ventilation modes:
- Ducted (Extraction) Mode: Air is extracted from the kitchen and expelled outside through a ducting system. This requires a connection to an external vent.

- To remove the filter, locate the release latch and pull it down. The filter will detach.

5.2 Replacing Carbon Filters (Recirculation Mode Only)
If your hood is operating in recirculation mode, the optional CBCF005 carbon filters need to be replaced every 3-6 months, depending on usage.
- Remove the aluminum grease filters as described above.
- The carbon filters are typically attached to the motor housing. Follow the specific instructions provided with the carbon filters for removal and installation.
- Dispose of old carbon filters responsibly.
5.3 Cleaning the Hood Surface
Wipe the stainless steel surface with a soft cloth dampened with mild detergent. Do not use abrasive pads or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
