Camera Installation & Power On

Attach the mini tripod to the gimbal's base. Secure your action camera (e.g., GoPro Hero 8 or DJI OSMO Action) into the gimbal's mount using the quick-release clip. Long press the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the iSteady Pro4.

GoPro Connection Steps

After powering on the gimbal, turn on the Wi-Fi control on the gimbal. On your GoPro, navigate to settings, then connections, and enable Wi-Fi connection. Select 'Smart Remote' to pair. Download the Hohem Gimbal App. Enable Bluetooth on your phone and connect to the gimbal. Within the app, select the iSteady Pro4 model. Use the virtual joystick interface to remotely control shooting direction and re-center the gimbal. The app also allows switching working modes and setting up motion time-lapse with up to 6 way-points for dynamic time-lapse effects.
