The Kessil Spectral Controller X is an advanced light control device designed for Kessil aquarium lights. It features a vivid color display and intuitive touch control, enabling precise customization of light schedules and intensity for optimal aquatic environments. The controller supports both the new K-Link communication method for A360X series lights and the traditional 0-10V output for older Kessil models, offering versatile compatibility for various aquarium setups.

Follow these steps to set up your Kessil Spectral Controller X:

1. Хянагчийг суурилуулах: Use the included Magnetic Back Plate to securely mount the controller to a suitable surface. The plate can be attached using the provided screws and nylon anchors if needed.
2. Connecting to Kessil A360X Lights (K-Link):

   Connect the included 10’ K-Link Cable from the K-Link port on the Spectral Controller X to the K-Link input on your Kessil A360X Tuna Sun or A360X Tuna Blue light. For multiple A360X lights, daisy-chain them using additional K-Link Cables (sold separately). The controller can network up to 32 fixtures per chain.

3. Connecting to Kessil 0-10V Lights:

   For Kessil 0-10V light fixtures (A360WE, A360NE, A80, A160), use the 0-10V output port on the controller. An older Unit Link Cable (not included with Controller X) is required for these connections.

The Spectral Controller X offers two primary modes for light control:

In Manual Mode, you can directly adjust the color and intensity of your Kessil lights in real-time. This mode is ideal for on-demand light customization, allowing you to fine-tune settings instantly to observe your aquarium or make quick adjustments.

• Navigate to the Manual Mode section on the controller's display.
• Use the touch controls to increase or decrease light intensity and adjust color spectrums (e.g., violet, red, green, blue).
• Changes made in Manual Mode are applied immediately.

Program Mode allows you to create and save customized light schedules to match the specific needs of your aquarium and its inhabitants. You can set up to 12 distinct programs.

• Access the Program Mode section from the main menu.
• Choose from two methods for setting your customized light schedule.
• Define specific time points throughout the day and set the desired light intensity and color for each point. The controller will then smoothly transition between these settings.
• Save your programs for future use or to apply them to different groups of lights.

K-Link Communication (for A360X Series)

The K-Link method facilitates advanced communication with Kessil A360X lights. It allows you to:

• Network multiple A360X lights (up to 32 fixtures) on a single chain.
• Set individual groups of lights to run their own distinct programs.
• Benefit from two-way communication, enabling the controller to detect the number of lights in the network and their current status.

0-10V Communication (for Older Kessil Models)

The 0-10V port provides compatibility with Kessil's older 0-10V light fixtures, including the A360WE, A360NE, A80, and A160. Ensure you use the appropriate Unit Link Cable for these connections.

• Keep the controller clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Ensure the controller is kept in a dry environment and away from direct water splashes, as it is not waterproof.
