The Toyomi SC 707 offers both stewing and steaming functions. Always ensure sufficient water is in the main unit's reservoir for operation.
For Stewing/Slow Cooking:
- Fill the main unit's water reservoir with the appropriate amount of water. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
- Place your ingredients into the ceramic inner pot.
- Cover the ceramic inner pot with its ceramic lid.
- Carefully place the ceramic inner pot into the main unit's water reservoir.
- Cover the main unit with its transparent lid.
- Plug in the appliance. Use the control panel to select the desired cooking function and time. Refer to the specific function buttons on your unit for details (e.g., Stew, Porridge).
- The appliance will begin cooking. The digital display will show the remaining cooking time.
- Once cooking is complete, the appliance may switch to a 'Keep Warm' mode or turn off automatically.
- Carefully remove the lids and the ceramic pot using oven mitts, as they will be hot.
