The Femometer DET-306 thermometer requires 2 AAA batteries, which are included in the package. To install or replace batteries:

Taking a Body Temperature (Forehead Mode)

1. Асаах: Асаах товчийг дарна уу (⏻) to turn on the thermometer. The display will activate and show all segments during a self-check. After the self-check, the person icon (👤) will appear on the display, indicating it's in body temperature mode.
2. Байршил: Aim the thermometer at the center of the forehead, maintaining a distance of 0.3 to 1.2 inches (approximately half the length of a ring finger) from the skin. Ensure there are no obstructions like hair or sweat.
3. Хэмжих: Press the "START" button. The thermometer will emit a beep, and the temperature reading will appear on the display within 1 second.

Taking an Object Temperature (Object Mode)

The thermometer can also measure the temperature of objects, liquids, or rooms.

1. Солих горим: After powering on, press the mode button (house icon 🏠) to switch from body mode to object mode. The house icon will appear on the display.
