2. Installing Accessories (Quick-Change Collet)
The rotary tool features a Quick-Change Collet for fast and easy accessory changes. The collet size is 1/8 inch.
- Ensure the rotary tool is turned off and the battery pack is removed.
- Locate the collet nut at the front of the tool.
- Press and hold the spindle lock button (if present) to prevent the spindle from rotating.
- Unscrew the collet nut counter-clockwise using the provided wrench or by hand until it is loose.
- Insert the desired accessory bit into the collet, ensuring it is seated as deeply as possible without the tip touching the tool housing.
- Tighten the collet nut clockwise by hand, then use the wrench to secure it firmly. Do not overtighten.
