4.1. Assembling the Detector

  1. Attach the Coil: Secure the search coil to the lower shaft using the provided bolt and washers. Ensure it is snug but not overtightened.

  • Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the charging port on the control unit.
  • Plug the other end into a USB power adapter (not supplied) or a computer USB port.
  • The battery indicator on the display will show charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 4-6 hours.

5.1. Search Modes

  • Lower Frequencies (5 kHz, 8 kHz): Generally better for deeper, larger targets and highly mineralized ground.
  • Higher Frequencies (10 kHz, 15 kHz): More sensitive to smaller, shallower targets like small coins and jewelry.
