Using a generator indoors WILL KILL YOU IN MINUTES. Generator exhaust contains poisonous carbon monoxide gas that can cause unconsciousness or DEATH. Operate in well-ventilated, outdoor areas away from open windows or doors. Point exhaust away from occupied areas. Do not run generator in enclosed areas (e.g., not in house or garage). Move to fresh air and get medical help if sick, dizzy, or weak.

Always ensure the generator is placed on a level surface and away from any flammable materials. Keep children and pets away from the operating unit.

Before starting the generator for the first time, you must add engine oil. The generator is shipped without oil.

1. Locate the oil fill cap on the side of the generator.
2. Remove the side panel by unscrewing the two screws.
