The WUBEN L3 flashlight comes with a pre-installed battery. Before first use, ensure that any protective film or insulator is removed from the battery terminals. The battery is typically installed with a protective cover over the negative end for shipping purposes. Unscrew the tail cap, remove the protective cover, and re-tighten the tail cap securely.

It is recommended to fully charge the flashlight before its first use to ensure optimal performance and battery longevity.
- Locate the USB-C charging port. This is typically found near the head of the flashlight, beneath a screw-off ring or a rubber cover.
- Open the rubber cover or unscrew the ring to expose the USB-C port.
- Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the flashlight and to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
- The charging indicator light will illuminate (e.g., red for charging, blue for fully charged).
- Charging typically takes approximately 2 hours for a full charge using an 18W power source.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the cable and securely close the USB-C port cover to maintain water resistance.

Changing Brightness Modes (Low, Med, High, Turbo)
When the flashlight is on (constant on mode):
- Half-press the tail switch repeatedly to cycle through the brightness modes: Low → Med → High → Turbo.
- The flashlight has a memory function and will turn on in the last used brightness mode (excluding Strobe and SOS).
Special Modes (Strobe, SOS)
- Строб: From the ON state, quickly double half-press the tail switch. Half-press again to return to the previous brightness mode.
- SOS: From the ON state, quickly triple half-press the tail switch. Half-press again to return to the previous brightness mode.
