Equipped with a powerful 350W motor and adjustable speed up to 10000 RPM, this equipment is suitable for jewelry making, art projects, and general lapidary work. Follow these steps to set up your PYY Lapidary Saw for operation:

1. Install the Saw Blade:
   Use the provided wrench to loosen the nut on the saw's spindle. Carefully place either the woodworking saw blade or the jade cutting disc onto the spindle. Secure it firmly with the nut and wrench.
2. Attach the Blade Cover:
   Install the blade cover over the saw blade for safety.
3. Position the Pusher Angle Ruler:
   Slide the pusher angle ruler into its designated slot on the saw table. This aids in guiding materials for straight and angled cuts.
4. Install the Fiber Wheel (for polishing/grinding):
   Insert the spindle through the fiber wheel, then place the pressure plate and secure it with a screw. Attach this assembly onto the base unit's left shaft and tighten with a screw.
5. Connect the Flexible Shaft (for engraving/drilling):
   Attach the flexible shaft onto the base unit's left shaft and secure it with a screw. Then, lock the other end of the flexible shaft into the handle.
6. Set up the Wet Cutting System:
   Place the water pump into a container of water (e.g., the provided sink). Connect the flexible shaft from the water pump to the cooling pipe. Position the cooling pipe to direct water onto the cutting area. Adjust the cooling pipe switch to control the water flow during wet cutting.

5.1 Cutting Operations

5.2 Polishing, Grinding, and Engraving

The saw's versatile design allows for additional functions:

• Polishing/Grinding: With the fiber wheel attached to the left shaft, you can polish or grind materials. Gently press the material against the rotating fiber wheel.
• Engraving/Drilling: Connect the flexible shaft and handle to the left shaft. Attach appropriate engraving bits or drill chucks (1.5-10mm) to the handle for detailed work.
