Most Arregui electronic safes come with an emergency override key. Insert the key into the hidden lock (often behind a cover plate) to open the safe manually. Some models also support an external battery pack that plugs into the keypad.
Typically, you must open the safe first, then press the reset/program button located on the inside of the door (sometimes behind the battery cover). Enter your new code followed by the confirmation key (e.g., Enter or *) as specified in your model's manual.
