HomeLink Manuals & User Guides
HomeLink is a leading wireless vehicle-to-home automation system that allows drivers to control garage doors, gates, and security systems from their cars.
About HomeLink manuals on Manuals.plus

HomeLink is the world’s most trusted and widely used vehicle-based wireless control system. Owned and developed by Gentex корпораци, HomeLink consists of vehicle-integrated buttons—typically located on the visor, rearview mirror, or overhead console—that can be programmed to replace portable remote controls. The system uses radio frequency (RF) technology to activate garage door openers, estate gates, exterior lighting, interior electronics, and security systems.
Compatible with nearly all garage door openers and gate systems, including those equipped with rolling code security technology, HomeLink eliminates the clutter of multiple handheld remotes. The brand operates as a standard feature or option in vehicles from almost every automotive manufacturer worldwide. In addition to basic open/close functions, newer iterations of HomeLink support two-way communication to indicate door status.

HomeLink support FAQ
Энэ брэндийн гарын авлага, бүртгэл, дэмжлэгийн талаархи нийтлэг асуултууд.
-
How do I program my HomeLink buttons?
To program, press and hold the HomeLink button you wish to train and the button on your handheld transmitter simultaneously. Watch the indicator light; when it changes from a slow flash to a rapid flash (or solid light), releasing the buttons completes the process. Rolling code openers may require an additional step using the 'Learn' button on the garage motor.
-
How do I erase previously programmed HomeLink buttons?
To erase all three buttons, press and hold the two outer HomeLink buttons for approximately 10 to 20 seconds until the indicator light begins to flash. Individual buttons cannot be erased, only reprogrammed.
-
What if my garage door opener has a rolling code?
If your opener uses a rolling code, programming involves an extra step. After the initial training in the vehicle, you must press the 'Learn' or 'Smart' button on the garage door opener motor unit, then return to your vehicle and press the programmed HomeLink button up to three times to complete the synchronization.
-
Can I program more than three devices?
The standard HomeLink system has three buttons, allowing you to control up to three different devices such as garage doors, gates, or security lights.
-
Why is the indicator light flashing rapidly?
A rapidly flashing indicator light typically signifies that the programmed code is a rolling code, or that the system is in 'learning' mode waiting for synchronization with the garage door opener unit.
