  Solid core Cat 5e or better (Cat 6/7) STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) cabling is recommended for best performance and to minimize interference. The cable must have a straight-through conductor configuration.

• What does it mean if the Link LED is off on my extender?

  If the Link LED is off, it indicates that there is no valid communication between the Local and Remote Extenders. This is often caused by defective cabling, improper installation, or exceeding the maximum supported distance.
