Connect your phone to the radio's Bluetooth first. Then open the Zlink app (usually Zlink 5) on the radio unit. Ensure your phone's WiFi is on but not connected to another network; the system uses a WiFi hotspot connection established via the initial Bluetooth handshake.
Ensure the camera input cable (often a bundle with yellow jacks and white plugs) is plugged into the back of the radio, even if you are not using a camera. This cable typically acts as the antenna for WiFi and Bluetooth signals.
